The FN509 Tactical 9MM has a Flat Dark Earth slide and frame finish, and utilizes a striker-fired ignition system.  The trigger pull is between 5.5 to 7.5#.  The Optics Mounting System is slide-integrated low-profile and contains suppressor-height, fixed 3-dot night sights w/rear sight integrated slide plate.  There is an external extractor and loaded chamber indicator.  The 4.5" threaded barrel is 1/2x28 with an o-ring retention thread cap.

The barrel is a cold hammer-forged stainless steel barrek, recessed target crown and polished chamber & feed ramp.  The frame has an enhanced grip texture reducing the opportunity for slipping between rounds fired.  There are interchangeable backstraps provided, for you to custom fit the FN509 to your hand size and comfort level.  The FN509 also has a MIL-STD 1913 accessory rail, a fully ambidextrous slide stop lever & mag release, as well as high visibility, low-friction followers in the magazine.  Includes one (1) 17-round magazine and one (2) 24-round magazines, as well as a Flat Dark Earth soft case.
