Is the Glock 19 the single greatest concealed carry handgun ever made? No. Is it the best looking handgun ever made? No. Is it still a handgun you should consider for every day concealed carry? Absolutely. At 7.36” long and 4.99” tall the Glock 19 isn’t the smallest handgun here by a wide margin but at 1.18” wide it is easy to conceal in any IWB holster and leaves a minimal print. Smith & Wesson MP 9

When measured as a handgun the S&W MP 9 might be one of the best there is. It’s ergonomic design, 17+1 capacity, and pronounced sights make it an absolute dream to operate. As a concealed carry handgun the M&P 9 is less than perfect. At 7.6” long the M&P 9 requires extra effort to conceal, and at 27.9 oz it is heavier than most. With the right holster the M&P 9 can be concealed and carried every single day, but there are other handguns on this list that are easier to live with. The MP 9 has excellent stopping power and is perfect when used for home defense or as a truck gun.
